ACI Worldwide raises full-year guidance after 7% revenue growth in fiscal second quarter
The payments-software company reported $430 million in quarterly revenue and lifted its full-year outlook to $1.895 billion to $1.925 billion.

ACI Worldwide, a payments-technology company whose software underpins real-time and card-based transaction processing for banks, merchants and billers, reported fiscal second-quarter 2026 revenue of $430 million, up 7% from the same period a year earlier, or 6% on a constant-currency basis. The company raised its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $1.895 billion to $1.925 billion on the back of the results.
ACI operates across three main business lines: banking software that helps financial institutions process real-time payments, merchant software for card and digital-wallet acceptance, and biller software used by utilities, insurers and other companies that collect recurring payments. That diversified base — spanning both financial institutions and the billers who ultimately get paid through them — has made the company a less-visible but structurally important part of how money actually moves once a payment is initiated elsewhere.
The guidance increase is a modest but notable signal: companies lift full-year outlooks mid-year typically when bookings or renewal activity in the preceding quarter ran ahead of internal expectations, and ACI’s revenue model is weighted toward multi-year software licensing and transaction-based fees rather than one-time sales, which tends to make quarter-to-quarter swings in guidance a reasonably reliable read on underlying demand rather than one-off deal timing.
For a company operating in the plumbing layer of payments rather than the consumer-facing side, growth in the mid-single digits alongside a raised outlook points to steady, if unspectacular, demand for the kind of real-time payment rails that banks and large billers are gradually migrating onto — a slower-moving but structurally durable corner of the broader payments-technology market.
