Fidelity International expands tokenized dollar liquidity fund access in Singapore
Professional and accredited investors can access the tokenized version of Fidelity International’s USD Digital Liquidity Fund through Sygnum’s regulated digital-asset platform.

Fidelity International has expanded its tokenized USD Digital Liquidity Fund to professional and accredited investors in Singapore through Sygnum’s digital-asset platform. The move gives eligible investors access to a tokenized representation of a dollar liquidity strategy through a regulated digital-asset infrastructure provider rather than through a retail crypto exchange.
The significance is operational as much as technological. A tokenized fund interest can be represented and transferred on digital rails, potentially shortening parts of the subscription, recordkeeping and settlement process. It does not turn the underlying portfolio into a cryptocurrency: the economic exposure remains to a money-market fund, while the token is a digital representation of the investor’s fund interest subject to the fund’s terms and applicable securities rules.
Sygnum’s role matters because tokenized funds require more than a blockchain ledger. Investors need onboarding, custody, transfer controls, compliance screening and a connection between the token record and the asset manager’s official register. A regulated platform can provide that institutional wrapper, although the exact settlement cycle, supported wallets and transfer restrictions for this offering remain product-specific.
The Singapore expansion also shows how tokenization is moving beyond demonstrations into targeted distribution. The audience is still limited to professional and accredited investors, and the product does not eliminate market or liquidity risk. But for asset managers, a tokenized fund can provide a controlled way to test programmable ownership and digital settlement without changing the underlying investment mandate.
