HL Hunt’s AI Debt Collection product automates outreach, but compliance remains human work
The white-label platform combines skip tracing, multichannel contact, payment plans and recovery dashboards, with pricing that mixes monthly subscriptions and commissions.

HL Hunt Financial’s AI Debt Collection product is positioned as a white-label operating layer for creditors and collection agencies. The company says it manages the recovery lifecycle through coordinated outreach across SMS, email, voice calls, letters and voicemail, while presenting the workflow under the client’s brand.
The platform’s feature set includes skip tracing, self-service payment plans, payment processing and real-time recovery dashboards. In principle, that combination can move a collection operation away from spreadsheets and disconnected dialers: an account can be located, contacted, offered a plan and monitored from one system. The technology does not change the underlying obligation to contact the right person, use accurate account data and stop or adjust outreach when a consumer disputes the debt or requests the legally required treatment.
HL Hunt says the product enforces FDCPA, TCPA and Regulation F requirements. Those are important compliance frameworks, but “enforces” is not the same as a legal guarantee. A customer still needs to configure consent, contact windows, identity verification, opt-outs, call recording, disclosures, dispute workflows, data retention and escalation rules correctly. It also needs to test whether the system behaves properly across states and debt types.
Pricing is tied to portfolio size and recoveries. The Free tier lists no monthly fee and a 26% commission for up to 50 accounts. Growth is $149 per month plus a 15% commission for up to 250 accounts. Professional is $349 per month for up to 1,500 accounts, and Enterprise is $649 per month plus a 6.5% commission for up to 7,500 accounts. Custom pricing is available for unlimited volume. The company should clarify how commissions are calculated, which payments are included and what additional processing or servicing fees apply.
The product’s value proposition is operational efficiency, not a replacement for compliance judgment. Automated outreach can improve consistency and visibility, but it can also scale an error if the source file, contact match or rule configuration is wrong. HL Hunt’s feature, pricing and compliance descriptions are company-published claims and were not independently audited for this article.
