HL Hunt Business Funding is a brokered menu of working-capital options, not one loan
The company says one application can match a business with merchant cash advances, factoring, credit lines, equipment finance or SBA and term loans.

HL Hunt Financial’s Business Funding product is a capital-brokerage service rather than a single loan. The company says a business submits one application, then receives matches across third-party funding providers and works with an advisor to review the available options.
The menu includes merchant cash advances, invoice factoring, business lines of credit, equipment financing and SBA or term loans. HL Hunt advertises funding from $10,000 to $5 million. Those categories are not interchangeable: a merchant cash advance is repaid from future receivables, factoring advances against invoices, a line of credit is revolving and equipment finance is tied to an asset. SBA and term loans generally involve longer underwriting and different documentation.
HL Hunt says it weighs business revenue and cash flow more heavily than personal credit, considers scores from 500 and generally looks for at least six months in business, a business bank account and consistent deposits. The company also says checking options uses a soft pull, with a hard inquiry occurring only if an applicant accepts an offer on certain products. Those are company-published eligibility descriptions, not approval guarantees.
Speed is another part of the pitch, but it depends on the product. Cash advances and factoring may move faster than equipment, credit-line, SBA or term-loan applications. A headline such as funding in 24 hours should not be compared directly with an illustrative APR on a longer-term facility. Businesses should calculate the total dollar cost and repayment burden, not just the amount deposited.
The key diligence question is who ultimately funds the transaction and what terms that provider sets. HL Hunt says third-party approval and underwriting apply. Applicants should request the complete agreement, fees, factor rate or APR, payment frequency, collateral and personal-guarantee requirements, prepayment terms, reserve mechanics and any broker compensation before signing.
