Public.com adds Kalshi prediction markets and AI trading agents to its brokerage app
The retail brokerage’s new partnership lets users trade event contracts alongside stocks, options, and crypto, and deploy AI agents that can act on plain-language prompts across those asset classes.

Public.com, the retail brokerage known for combining stocks, options, bonds, and crypto in a single account, has partnered with Kalshi to bring prediction markets onto its platform. The integration lets users trade Kalshi’s event contracts — instruments tied to the outcome of real-world events — from within the same app they use for equities and options.
The more notable piece of the rollout is how Public is pairing prediction markets with its AI trading agents. Users can define an investing intent in plain language, and Public’s agents will execute automated strategies that draw on prediction-market data as a signal for a broader portfolio, or trade event contracts directly, spanning stocks, options, and crypto within the same authenticated brokerage account rather than a separate sandbox.
The move places Public alongside a small number of brokerages experimenting with folding prediction markets into mainstream trading apps, following Kalshi’s broader push into retail-facing distribution partnerships as event contracts have moved from a niche product into more conventional brokerage and trading platforms over the past two years.
Because the AI agents act inside Public’s existing brokerage infrastructure, the practical stakes for users center on how much autonomy the agents are given by default and how clearly Public discloses execution logic and risk limits for automated strategies that can span prediction markets, options, and crypto simultaneously — details that matter more once real capital, rather than a demo, is on the line.
